This is a faster paced hike through the forest and by Horsetail Lake and area creeks.  Take I-55 (Stevenson Expwy.) to Rte. 45 (LaGrange Rd.); exit south; go approximately 5-1/2 miles south; turn west (right) on Rte. 83 (W. Cal Sag Rd.) - right behind the bridge; continue approximately 1/8 mile west to the entrance of Swallow Cliff Woods North Forest Preserve (old toboggan slides) on the south (left) side.
